The KHX Custom features laser-equipped Hogue Enhanced MagGrip G10 grips and a mainspring housing that forms an external magazine well and a continuous wraparound grip surface. Green and red fiber optic sights provide bright, clear vision.

The Kimber KHX Custom is a 1911-style pistol, appreciated for its reliability and accuracy. With an overall length of 22.1 cm (8.7 inches) and a barrel of 12.7 cm (5 inches), it offers an excellent balance for sport shooting. Its weight of 1,077 grams (38 ounces) with an empty magazine provides appreciable stability when shooting. The magazine has a capacity of 8 rounds, providing sufficient autonomy between reloads.
The frame and slide are made of stainless steel with a KimPro II gray finish, ensuring increased corrosion resistance and a modern aesthetic. Front and rear grip grooves on the slide make the weapon easy to handle, even in harsh conditions.
The match grade stainless steel barrel, combined with a match grade barrel ring, ensures optimum accuracy. The rifling pitch is 1:16 inches left, optimizing projectile stability.
Fiber optic sights, with a 6.8-inch (17.2 cm) sight length, provide fast, accurate target acquisition. Hogue Magrip G-10 grips with integrated laser provide superior ergonomics and aim assistance, especially useful in low-light conditions.
The premium aluminum trigger is factory set for a pull weight of 4.0 to 5.0 lbs (1.8 to 2.3 kg), providing a crisp, responsive shooting feel.
