The Kimber 1911 KHX Custom (OR) semi-automatic pistol has a milled slide that accepts optical plates for Vortex, Trijicon red dot sights. Equipped with a stiplex front strap for better grip.

The Kimber KHX Custom (OR) is a 1911-style pistol, prized for its reliability and accuracy. With an overall length of 8.7 inches (22.1 cm) and a barrel of 5 inches (12.7 cm), it offers excellent balance for sport shooting. Its weight of 38 ounces (1,077 grams) with an empty magazine provides appreciable stability when shooting. The magazine has an 8-round capacity, providing sufficient autonomy between reloads.
The frame and slide are made of stainless steel with a KimPro II gray finish, ensuring increased corrosion resistance and a modern aesthetic. The front and rear hexagonal grip grooves on the slide make the weapon easy to handle, even in harsh conditions.
The match grade stainless steel barrel, combined with a match grade barrel ring, ensures optimum accuracy. The rifling pitch is 1:16 inches left, optimizing projectile stability.
Sights are designed to coexist with mounted optics, allowing for fast and accurate target acquisition. Hogue Magrip G-10 grips provide superior ergonomics and a firm grip, improving control while shooting.
The premium aluminum trigger is factory set for a trigger pull of approximately 4.0 to 5.0 pounds, providing a crisp, responsive shooting feel.
The KHX Custom (OR) is distinguished by its machined slide, ready to receive plates for the installation of electronic sights from the brands Vortex, Trijicon and Leupold.
