Caesar Guerini REVENANT Over-and-Under Shotgun - Steel with Ejectors - 20/76 Gauge
The exceptional Italian-style rifle with extraordinary engraving and a forend equipped with the patented "Winged" iron forend.
Caesar Guerini develops Italian hunting and sporting shotguns where mechanics, balance, and aesthetics work together seamlessly. The Revenant range takes this approach to the high end with a round receiver, hand-engraved details, select woods, and the spectacular patented Winged forend.
The Caesar Guerini Revenant in 20/76 gauge combines a steel receiver with remarkable hand-engraved detailing , enhanced with floral motifs and gilt accents. Its patented Winged forend seamlessly extends the receiver's decoration into the forend. Equipped with ejectors, 71 cm steel-shot proofed barrels, and five Selectachoke chokes, this shotgun blends gunsmithing refinement with practicality for hunting.

A hand-engraved design that extends to the front
What distinguishes this piece is immediately apparent: the decoration doesn't stop at the sides of the rocker. The hand-engraved floral motifs , punctuated with gilding, are echoed in the metal inserts integrated into the forend. The whole thus forms a particularly refined, continuous composition, without any visual break between the rocker and the forend.
The Winged front, a Caesar Guerini signature
The patented Winged forend retains the mechanical functions of a traditional forend but incorporates two symmetrical lateral extensions. These metal surfaces are integrated into the wood of the forend and offer more space for engraving. This is precisely the kind of detail that immediately catches the eye when the firearm is held: the mechanics here become a true component of the design.
A steel rocker with a round profile
The steel receiver features rounded shapes that complement the sleek lines of the 20-gauge. This geometry contributes to both the shotgun's visual appeal and its comfortable feel in the hand. The metal parts also benefit from an Invisalloy coating , designed to enhance their protection while preserving the fineness of the finish and engraving.
A 20/76 caliber with 71 cm barrels
Chambered in 20/76 gauge , this over-and-under shotgun features 71 cm barrels. This versatile configuration is particularly well-suited to small game hunting and situations where balance, responsiveness, and accurate shouldering are essential. With a claimed weight of 2.95 kg , the gun maintains a reassuring presence while remaining consistent with the natural elegance of a 20 gauge.
Steel shot proofed barrels and 5 Selectachoke
The barrels are steel shot proofed , an important feature for hunting in areas where lead-free ammunition is required. The configuration is completed by five interchangeable Selectachoke chokes , allowing the shot pattern to be adapted to the conditions and the type of hunting being practiced.
Veined walnut and neat grid pattern
The delicately grained walnut stock provides the desired contrast to the metal finish. The pistol grip and forend feature fine checkering that accentuates their shape while enhancing the grip. At the rear, the checkered wooden buttplate maintains the overall aesthetic harmony down to the smallest detail.
A mechanism designed to remain enjoyable on the field
Beyond its refined finish, the weapon remains designed for use. Ejectors facilitate reloading after firing, while the selective single trigger allows the user to choose which barrel is fired first. The tapered top rib and brass front sight complete a simple and functional design. In other words, the decorative elements never overshadow the rifle's hunting purpose.
