The Daniel Defense DDM4 300S is an AR15-style semi-automatic rifle, chambered in 300 AAC Blackout caliber. Equipped with a 10.3-inch barrel cold-forged in Chrome Moly Vanadium steel, it guarantees exceptional accuracy and durability. The DDM4 300S is designed for those looking for a compact rifle without compromising performance. The 300 AAC Blackout caliber allows the use of .30 caliber projectiles with higher muzzle energy than comparable 5.56mm platforms, while using standard 5.56 bolts and magazines.
The 10.3-inch barrel, with a 1:8 rifling pitch, is chrome plated on the inside and heavily phosphate coated on the outside, providing increased corrosion resistance and extended durability. The pistol-length gas system, combined with a low-profile gas block machined from hardened 4140 steel, ensures reliable operation and reduced perceived recoil.
The DDM4 Rail 9.0 handguard, machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, provides a robust and lightweight platform for adding accessories via the Picatinny system. The ergonomic stock and grip, featuring a soft overmold, ensure a comfortable and secure grip, even during extended shooting sessions.
The lower receiver features a flared magazine well for easy quick reloads, as well as a QD sling attachment point. The upper receiver, with M4 feed ramps, is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and Type III hardcoat anodized for exceptional durability and strength.
The DDM4 300S also features an ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle, suitable for both left and right-handed shooters, improving ergonomics and flexibility. The Daniel Defense 17-4 PH stainless steel flash hider, with nitrided finish, reduces the light signature when firing.
