There are several ways to mount a rifle scope, but the most common is the option with rings. It has many advantages, including its affordable price and the fact that it is available in the largest number of versions. Many telescopes today require a 30mm mount because their main tube is 30mm in diameter. This means that to connect your scope to the firearm you need 30mm rings for mounting. The most important thing when mounting a rifle scope with rings is to know the proper force needed to secure the rings. If you exceed this limit, the structural integrity of the scope will be compromised. Rings can also leave a visible mark if not tightened properly. The tightening torque must not exceed 2.2 Nm.
