The Daniel Defense RIS III Rail Interface System takes the proven design of the two-piece RIS II rails, used by the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) since 2006, and reduces weight while adding versatility with when using the M-LOK fastener. It benefits from the same proven free-floating barrel design, durable aircraft-grade aluminum construction, and an uninterrupted top rail platform with the RIS II's 1913 Mil-Spec rail. But it also gets seven M-LOK attachment points along the handguard, as well as integrated QD swivel attachment points on each side.
