In an artisanal forge in San Diego, a brand of knives was born that embodies the spirit of dedication and
service: Toor Knives. Connor and Cameron Toor, both enlisted in the Army - Connor in the Marines and
Cameron in the Army - were exposed to various weapon systems, tools, equipment and knives.
They thus noticed a clear gap in the development of effective tactical blades. Therefore
Toor Knives was born, with knives adapted to operators, soldiers, special forces and their
missions. Today, the thriving company employs more than 30 talented artisans in San Diego, California.
Their range of knives has expanded, creating a family of quality blades to meet the needs of
operators and professionals from all over the world.
The Avalon Fillet Knife is an original design from Toor Knives, designed to tackle the heaviest fish and game on your next outdoor adventure.
The ultra-thin profile of this blade allows for extremely controlled blade manipulation, which is essential when threading your sockets. The thinner blade design allows for edge flex, allowing the angler to easily access hard to reach places. The blade bevel is over an inch long, ensuring a long sharpening life. The Avalon is designed to be your workhorse on any boat or dock.

The blade is finished in an uncoated steel to alleviate any blade sticking when slicing meat, resulting in a smooth, unobstructed cut. The Avalon features Toor Knives' signature texture on the hi-vis G10 handles, adding maximum grip when the angler is working with gloves, as well as supreme water resistance. Finally, this blade comes with a DuoTone™ KYDEX® sheath, compatible with all of our sheath mounts.
Technology :
- TDT: multiple heat treatment and non-oxygen thermal normalization and cryogenic finishing to harden external austenitic steel. The guarantee of an ultra regular molecular structure and maximum hardness.
- MicraCoat surface treatment: Maximum anti-corrosion protection thanks to a thermal multi-layer application. Minimal thickness for exceptional protection.
- Dynamic Fluting handle: a multiaxial sculpted structure which ensures both comfortable handling and perfect grip of the knife.
