In an artisanal forge in San Diego, a brand of knives was born that embodies the spirit of dedication and
service: Toor Knives. Connor and Cameron Toor, both enlisted in the Army - Connor in the Marines and
Cameron in the Army - were exposed to various weapon systems, tools, equipment and knives.
They thus noticed a clear gap in the development of effective tactical blades. Therefore
Toor Knives was born, with knives adapted to operators, soldiers, special forces and their
missions. Today, the thriving company employs more than 30 talented artisans in San Diego, California.
Their range of knives has expanded, creating a family of quality blades to meet the needs of
operators and professionals from all over the world.
The Field 3.0 blade features a KG Gunkote finish which gives it excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals and impact. Although the profile has been thinned, the shape of the blade still allows for significant mass of steel behind the cutting edge, resulting in longer sharpening life and improved edge impact resistance. Each blade is also hand fitted with ebony scales in our signature exterior pattern. The wood itself is cut and processed by the Crelicam ebony factory in Cameroon by a dedicated and hardworking local workforce. Each piece is unique, meaning each of these blades has the potential to be different and stand alone.
The Field 3.0 is the latest addition to the ever-expanding Outdoor series. At just over 8.0 inches long, the Field 3.0 is slightly smaller than the Field 2.0 and is light enough to take on trips when weight matters, while still being fully capable of handling the workload of his larger brothers. The most noticeable differences in design are in the thinner profile, particularly where the blade ends in a point, making the Field 3.0 ideal for hiding penetration.
