In an artisanal forge in San Diego, a brand of knives was born that embodies the spirit of dedication and
service: Toor Knives. Connor and Cameron Toor, both enlisted in the Army - Connor in the Marines and
Cameron in the Army - were exposed to various weapon systems, tools, equipment and knives.
They thus noticed a clear gap in the development of effective tactical blades. Therefore
Toor Knives was born, with knives adapted to operators, soldiers, special forces and their
missions. Today, the thriving company employs more than 30 talented artisans in San Diego, California.
Their range of knives has expanded, creating a family of quality blades to meet the needs of
operators and professionals from all over the world.
Technology :
Highlights of The Darter Tanto include the now-iconic reverse serrations on the spine, which provide an extremely sharp solution to fighting with the back of the knife. Additionally, the tanto blade shape provides strength and durability, and the sharp, angled tip is excellent for drilling through difficult materials. Its black G10 handle with red lining is machined with a texture that matches the iconic Haley Strategic dragonfly wing pattern, while providing excellent grip when wet.
Finally, a hole in the retention lanyard, thumb marks on the spine and blade tip, stainless steel Torx handle screws, black GunKote KG spray finish, and both company logos etched in laser on the blade help ensure that the Darter Tanto Shadow Black doesn't just look good. but is strong enough to tackle any task.
