The Kimber Rapide Dawn is designed to deliver an exceptional shooting experience. Its stainless steel slide, featuring stepped cocking grooves and relief cuts, reduces weight and accelerates the bolt cycle, improving responsiveness when shooting. The 5-inch match grade barrel, with a 1:16-inch left-hand rifling pitch, ensures optimum accuracy. The barrel’s gold TiN coating not only provides increased wear resistance, but also reduces friction between the barrel, slide and bushing, thanks to its naturally lubricating properties.
Tru-Glo TFX Pro Day/Night sights, with an orange ring on the front sight, ensure fast, accurate target acquisition in all lighting conditions. The frame and slide feature a KimPro II silver finish with polished faces, giving the pistol a sleek look while providing protection against corrosion. Gray/black G10 grips, combined with Kimber Stiplex™ stippling on the front strap, provide optimum grip, even in wet or slippery conditions.
The aluminum V-trigger, factory set between 4.0 and 5.0 pounds, provides a crisp, responsive shooting feel. The pistol also features a flared magazine well, facilitating fast and efficient reloads. With a 9-round magazine capacity in 9mm, the Rapide Dawn is ready to satisfy the expectations of the most demanding shooters.
